NICOLE JENKINS joined the First

Union Financial Group team in

2017 as group chief corporate

executive. Prior to joining First

Union Financial Group, Nicole’s

professional career focused on

corporate law, finance and eco-

nomic development. Throughout

her professional career, Nicole

gained experience at Belize Trade

and Investment Development

Service (the equivalent of JAM-

PRO) as a trade policy analyst, and

following her education in the

USA and UK, she spent four years

at a leading international financial

services provider in Belize as a

manager, legal adviser and

financial consultant.

Raised and schooled in Belize,

Nicole then went on to continue

her education with a Bachelor of

Business Administration in

finance and economics from the

Stern School of Business at New

York University in New York and

University of St Thomas in Texas.

Subsequently, she obtained her

Senior Status Bachelor of Laws at

Queen Mary College at the

University of London and Master

of Laws in international law from

the University of Miami School of

Law. During this time, Nicole had

the opportunity to work at

Merrill Lynch Global Wealth

Management and Sony Music

Latin, following a short

assignment as part of the

Belizean mission to the United

Nations in New York.

Nicole was admitted as an

attorney-at-law in the state of

New York in 2014 and came to

Jamaica in 2015 to attend the

Norman Manley Law School,

where she obtained her

Certificate of Legal Education to

enable her to practise law in the

Caribbean. In November 2016,

Nicole was admitted as an

attorney-at-law in Jamaica.

Nicole is committed to helping

expand and develop the

company’s diversified portfolio

both in Jamaica and the wider

region, with a strong results-

oriented focus that will continue

the successful growth of the

group that began in Jamaica

over 18 years ago.
