22 The wing flap jackscrew is located in the right hand wing. The flap jackscrew extension was measured at 0.0 inches, corresponding to a zero degree flap extension as seen in Figure 12. Figure 12 Wing Flap Jackscrew The Nose Landing Gear (NLG) was attached to the engine firewall which was folded under the aircraft as seen in Figure 13. The shimmy dampener was still intact, and the steering rod actuator was sheared at the NLG attachment. The torque links were attached, the strut was inflated as well as the tyre.
