Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce 40th Anniversary

Innovative ways have been found to get the business community together, and so the networking evenings and the speed meetings were implemented. Several seminars have also been put on by the chamber in associa- tion with other bodies to educate and keep its members up to date with current trends. Through collaboration with the Jamaica Business Development Centre in Kingston, the formation of our JAMBIC Centre (Jamaica Business Information Centre) was realised. This centre was created to assist small and medium entre- preneurs with the proper way to start a business and helpful hints to making it a success. The Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce & Industry will this year mark its 88th anniversary with a spe- cial MoBay City 40th Anniversary Luncheon and Award ceremony in December.
