Preparatory School

achievements

OVER THE years the school has excelled

academically and socially and has been greatly

rewarded. Among our many achievements are:

1.

The JCDC first place trophy in the Children’s

Gospel Song Competition was captured by

the school choir for three consecutive years –

2010, 2011 and 2012.

2.

In 2018, the school’s entry in the Gleaner

Children’s Own Spelling Bee Competition

made it to the top eight, competing among

50 schools in the St Andrew Parish Finals.

3.

In 2017, the school was awarded a Government

Scholarship for outstanding performance in the

GSAT examination with a 98.4 average. Other

Governments Scholarships were in 2006 and 2014

with averages of 97.8 and 97.8 respectively. For each

year upward of 80 per cent or more of our students

are placed in traditional high schools.

February 2016 - Certificate of participation

in National Heritage Trust Art and Craft

Competition.

In 2017 the school boast a 96 per cent

average in the GFLT.

Hagley Park Preparatory School

remains competitive among

several schools of this nature in

Kingston and St Andrew. Last year

we were the proud awardee of a

Government Scholarship for

outstanding performance in the

GSAT examination. The current

enrolment stands at 292. Hagley

Park Preparatory boasts small class

sizes and individual attention.
