ING’S GATE Prep School is

conveniently located at 16

Hillcrest Avenue, off Hope

Road (near the Bob Marley

Museum) in Kingston. It was

established in September 1970

by Irelene Laird.

The school’s switchboard

operates between 7:30 a.m.

and 3:30 p.m., and you can call

any time between these hours.

The school operates two

departments:

1. The early childhood depart-

ment for children ages 18

months to five years.

2. The primary department for

children ages six to 12 years.

Both departments are regis-

tered with the Ministry of

Education and are guided by

its curriculum.

All our teachers are trained

and qualified. The early child-

hood department operates

from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. In

this department, we assist

with potty training your little

ones. They also participate in

music, Spanish, computer

classes, sign language, and art

and craft at no extra cost.

• 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m. – Regular

school

• 2 p.m.-6 p.m. – After-school

care

After 3:30 p.m., contact

with the after-school care can

be made by calling 283-3304.

Our primary department has

always been proud of its GSAT

placements. For the past 10

years, we have maintained a

95 per cent placement in tra-

ditional high schools.

Our teachers are at work by

7:30 a.m., and the school

begins every morning with

devotions at 8 a.m. We are

not affiliated with any church

or religious group, but we

embrace the Christian faith

and teachings.

The School operates two departments:
