NAME OF FEATURE | THE GLEANER | SUNDAY, DECEMBER 20, 2020 5 • Dome – When sugar was king, an iron foundry to repair sugar-estate machinery was a necessity. The Dome, located at the corner of Tharpe Street and Upper Harbour Street, was constructed in 1801 for this purpose. • Trelawny Parish Church – The Anglican Church of St Peter’s was built in 1795 and is the oldest church in the parish as well as the oldest public building in Falmouth. TRELAWNY 250TH ANNIVERSARY The Ministry of Local Government & Rural Development wishes to advise that under the current Disaster Risk Management Order, markets are allowed to operate and vending may take place in public arcades and public transportation centres on Monday to Saturdays only during the hours of 6am and 9pm. The traditional Grand Market for Christmas Eve will end at 10pm sharp this year. PARTIES & GATHERINGS Under Disaster Risk Management Order, Parties are STRICTLY PROHIBITED. The gathering limit remains at 15 persons and the Municipal Corporation will not be granting any permits for events.
