The event, also streamed online, brought together leaders from government and business to discuss corruption, transparency, and the importance of partnerships in protecting Jamaica’s trade and border systems. Panellists included Alfred McDonald, Marlon Lowe, Rockey Allen, Dr. Norman Washington Grant, and Dwight Thomas, highlighting that accountability is a shared responsibility across Customs and the wider community. Panellists engaging in a robust discussion during the Anti-Corruption Panel at the AC Hotel, Kingston. IN DECEMBER 2025, Jamaica Customs Agency, through its Border Protection Division, demonstrated its dedication to social responsibility with the Grant-AWish Christmas Initiative. On December 17, the initiative brought joy to 32 wards of the state, recognised the dedication of 19 caregivers with special gifts, and provided much-needed supplies to the Blossom Gardens Child Care Facility. The outreach reflected the Agency’s continued focus on protecting society not only through border security, but also through meaningful community engagement, making the Grant-A-Wish initiative a standout moment in Jamaica Customs’ 2025 year in review.
