She has remained with the company and has no regrets about the decision she made to “grow with Manpower”. “I started as a janitor, and I have been able to move up.”She was promoted to positions, including operating theatre assistant, and is now a supervisor at The Tony Thwaites Wing, UWI. “I have come a long way with the company and have seen it go through a lot of changes. Today, MMS is vastly improved, and that means a lot to us who work with the company.” She noted that employees receive “better wages now, and I personally have received a lot of help from the company. I have been able to get a house through my contributions to the NHT and to send my daughter to school. She is now working overseas. Manpower has been in my life for so long that now, I am helping to send my grandson to prep school.” According to Henry-Francis, the job has not been without its challenges, however, those have been minimal as they are outweighed by the benefits. “MMS provides regular training for staff. We are taught how to work with people, and that is important to the job.” When asked whether she would spend most of her working life with MMS if she was given the opportunity to do it again, she replied: “Sure. Sure. I have learnt so much from working with Manpower.
