As you celebrate 40 years, your achievements have been no small feat.Your contribution to thewelfare of Jamaica’s youth is an embodiment of your mottos: ‘Friend of Youth’ and ‘Bringing out the Best in Children’. SINCE 1980, the Optimist Club of Kingston, the first Optimist Club in Jamaica and the Caribbean, has played a significant role in our com- munity by undertaking projects that not onlyhave apositive impact on the lives of children, but at the same time, benefit our community as a whole. We are grateful for your partner- ship in particular during this period of uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. We look for- ward to continuing our partnership as we work together to protect our children in state care.
