are registered in the first year of the full-time undergraduate

MBBS programme in the Faculty of Medical Sciences.

Criteria:

The award will be based on solid academic

performance in CAPE 1 & 2 results, verifiable financial need

and demonstrable involvement in co-curricular activities.

Method of selection: Shortlisted candidates will be

interviewed by a selection panel comprised of UWI and

donor representatives.

Amount awarded:

J$650,000 per annum

The award is available to Caribbean nationals

who are registered in the Faculty of Medical Sciences and are

pursuing the MBBS degree programme and are entering

GPA of 3.0) and verifiable financial need.

Special Requirements:

Applicants should also submit a

short essay of NO MORE than 300 words outlining why they

should receive the award.
