THE JPS Foundation is charting a new direction in the Jamaica Public Service's (JPS) corporate social responsibility programme as it takes on the challenge of improving quality of life through energy security.
Launched in 2013, the JPS Foundation is committed to improving lives and empowering Jamaicans through charitable development projects in energy education, conservation and innovation. Through an energy education programme, it has been helping to groom a generation of informed users by engaging students of all ages in efficiency sessions and providing support for science labs and expos. This programme supports the larger corporate vision which in part commits to 'unleashing Jamaica's growth and prosperity'.
