Reporting to the Managing Director, the incumbent will be
responsible for a) growing the company’s business of delivering
a safe, clean, courteous and reliable public transport service
that meets the requirements of commuters within the KMTR, b)
maintaining optimal levels of operational efficiency, productivity
and cost-effectiveness in the utilization of all available
resources, c) participating in the design of programmes to
reinforce the Company’s mission, values, and customer charter
in the attitudes and behaviour of all employees in the Operations
Division, and ensuring effective programme implementation,
d) Planning and instituting measures to promote ridership and
improve passenger waiting and arrival time and the general
quality of service offered

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS EXPERIENCE:
• Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering/Operations
Management or equivalent qualification
• Ten (10) years’ experience in operations management
including planning/scheduling with at least five (5) years
experience at a senior level in the mass transportation
• Demonstrated innovative leadership and motivating skills at
the management level within a complex organisation.
• Well-developed human relations and negotiating skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
