OFFICE MANAGER

Description:
A construction company of fifteen (15) years in St. Andrew, is seeking a
motivated and qualified Office Manager. The candidate will coordinate
administrative duties and office procedures. Additionally they will be tasked
with creating and maintaining a positive work environment, ensuring high
levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety.

This is a salaried position based on qualification and experience. The standard
working hours will be weekdays 8am to 5pm. Typical office working condition with full employee benefits.

General Responsibilities:

• Organize office operations and procedures

• Ensure that all items are invoiced and paid on time

• Manage contract and price negotiations with office partners and service
providers

• Implement and maintain effective record and filing system

• Organize the office layout, supplies and equipment

• Partner with HR to update and maintain office policies as necessary

• Assist in the onboarding process for new hires

• Address employees queries regarding office management issues

• Provide direct support and reports to the Managing Director

• Schedule meetings and appointments
Qualifications:
Skills needed:

• Proven administrative or corporate experience

• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

• Proficiency in MS Office

• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

• Attention to details and problem solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment

• A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements

• Must be able to work independently
