The successful candidate will be responsible for the achievement of

the ICT Department Strategic objectives, the management of the Credit

Union’s computer network system and associated information systems

and to ensure the smooth running of the JPS & Partners Credit Union

computer systems within the requirements, specifications, cost and

stated deadline limits. The incumbent must also ensure that there

is accessibility of telephone services in all areas of the Credit Union

and to design and install information technology systems to support

management control and decision-making activities.

• Coordinate and implement the ICT policies, procedures, programmes and activities in order to drive increased operational

efficiency and effectiveness.

• Lead the preparation and effective execution of the annual

operational plan and budget for the ICT Department.

• Maintain the integrity and security of the Credit Union’s servers and

systems which support the Credit Union’s application programmes.

• Conduct the necessary testing, pilot/parallel runs, development of

reports and end user training required prior to a new project

implementation.

• Monitor firewall system logs, anti-virus scan systems, investigate

irregularities of network security issues.
