Winchester Road, Kingston 10, and has a staff complement of 320 highly skilled, specialised and competent team members, who collaborate to support the JCAA’s mission of “ensuring that the public is provided with a safe, reliable, effi- cient and user-friendly air transport system, ... [that conforms with] ... the standards and recommended prac- tices developed by the International Civil Aviation Organization”. • JCAA personnel continue to serve in various developmental ca- pacities which support regional and international aviation development. These include leadership roles in various Standing and Working Committees of regional and interna- tional aviation bodies. The JCAA was alsohonouredby theelectionof itsdi- rector general, NariWilliams-Singh, as president of the ICAO 40th Assembly in 2019, and the confidence reposed in himas the current chairman of the CaribbeanAviationSafetyandSecurity Oversight Systemboard of directors. Throughout its 25 years of exist- ence, the staff and leadership of the JCAA have worked tirelessly to build the organisation’s reputation of ex- cellence, while cementing its place as one of Jamaica’s strongest andmost internationally respected authorities. As we recognise the JCAA’s legacy of exemplary service, we salute all those whohave contributed, and continue to contribute, to Jamaica’s aviation industry, aswe support our country’s lofty recordof aviationexcellence.We will continue to soar, while continu- ously working to ensure recognition as aworld-class civil aviation author- ity, supporting the sustainable devel- opment of a safe and thriving global aviation community that supports and serves Jamaica.
