Injuries Flight Crew Flight Attendants Passengers Other Total Fatal 2 1 3 Serious Minor/None Total 2 1 3 1.3 Damage to Aircraft The aircraft was destroyed by impact with the ground, the airplane interior and some external skin and flight control surfaces were extensively damaged by fire. 1.4 Other Damage The airplane damaged a section of zinc fencing which separated the housing lots where the aircraft came to rest, the fence and a previously burnt out structure were also damaged by the fire. The R/H wing leading edge and lower wing skin made contact with an outside kitchen on the premises of the property where the airplane came to rest. There was fire damage to the bonnet, roof and forward section of a small black and white motor vehicle parked in the adjoining property where the aircraft came to rest, the windscreen was also cracked. 1.5 Personnel Information The Instructor’s last Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority (JCAA) Medical Records contained the following: Last Medical: March 3, 2016 First Class Weight: 165 1bs ; Height: 72 inches No limitations No medications Vision: 6/6 Color vision and hearing tests: passed
