Applicants must be a high school graduates meeting normal matriculation requirements for any di- ploma/degree programme and must have recommendation letters from the home, as well as, her high school. Applicants must provide a written essay describing their purpose for continuing education and their plans for future development. Candidates must have undertaken academic training sufficiently advanced to assure the completion of a Bachelor's degree by 1st October, 2020. Married candidates can now apply. The criteria for selection by the Committees are as follows:- Proven Intellectual and Academic Achievement of a high standard is the first quality required of applicants, but they will also be required to show integrity of character, sympathy for and protection of the weak, the ability to lead and the energy to use their talent to the full. The closing date for Jamaican and Commonwealth Caribbean Rhodes Scholarships 2020 application is September 30, 2019 by which date all completed entry forms must be received by the Secretary.
