Who is Jacob A. Kelderman?

Kelderman
has been with the NAA since March 2000, and is responsible for directing
and maintaining the newspaper industries business interests
with the uto industry and developing sales and marketing initiatives
in the category. He is similarly responsible for maintaining the
newspaper industries interests with the advertising agency
community.
Prior
to joining NAA, Kelderman served for 12 years with the National
Automobile Dealers Association as VP for the associations
Industry Affairs and Strategic Data Group. In this role he led NADAs
wide-ranging manufacturer/dealer relations effort and developed
the tools and methodologies to support that critical work. He also
developed and led its Publications and Industry Analysis departments
and served as Lead Officer for the associations American Truck
Dealer affiliate.
Prior
to joining NADA, Kelderman served for 10 years as Washington correspondent
for Automotive News, and reported extensively on the initial regulation
of the auto industry.
Kelderman
is co-author of Betting on the Franchise, The Future of Automotive
Retailing, as well numerous other reports on the retail auto
industry. He has also served as a consultant to the industry in
a variety of capacities.
Kelderman
hold a bachelors degree in journalism from the University
of Wisconsin in Madison.
