Houston, you do have a problem!Hopefully,we will not see a New Orleans type aftermath in terms of devastation and destruction when Hurricane Ike exits.Stay strong Houston!!

Some of the images coming out of Texas post Hurricane IKE do not look too good! Destruction, devastation and flooding.Hopefully, the loss of lives, if any, will be minimal. But guess what, the price of petrol is being severely spiked, not only in Texas, but as far away as Florida,Tennesse, Kentucky et al. Anxieties regarding the destruction, or,possible destruction of the oil refineries and oil installations in the Gulf of Mexico, and when operations can return to normalcy is/are driving the rapid increases in the price of petrol, inter alia.Interestingly, the spiking of petrol prices , actually, started before IKE made landfall in Texas.
