Career Ambition: Pediatrician
Hertha has a number of personal goals which are very dear to
her heart. Firstly, having a Jamaican mother and German father
she has a great desire to travel and explore the heritage and
culture on her father’s side. It’s also very important
to her to be a mother and a wife one day, as she believes that
these roles are vital to her expression of womanhood. At school
Hertha, is fully focused on her studies, as she believes that
excelling academically is the main purpose of her presence there.
When she is not in school, Hertha enjoys limbo dancing, a talent
passed down from her mother who was a limbo queen. She also
donates her time to worthy causes by volunteering at the Best
Care Children’s Lodge, a home for disabled and homeless
children
Hertha and Miss Jamaica World: Hertha is thoroughly
enjoying the experience of participating in the pageant. She
feels she has especially benefited from the grooming and speech
/ voice training classes. If she were to become Miss Jamaica
World 2006, she would use the title to highlight the plight
of disabled children. |
