Wants to pursue a Master’s Degree in Business and Finance
Career Ambition: to work with the Ministry of Finance
Although Zahra is very passionate about the academic and austere
world of finance, she is actually quite an athletic and creative
person. As an avid dancer, she has danced with the Edna Manley
College, the Tony Wilson Dance Company and is currently a member
of the University Dance Society. She also trains for track &
field events. Her outgoing personality led her to being the
social and event planner for Ministry Outreach, a social services
club.
Zahra and Miss Jamaica World: Zahra was encouraged
to enter the pageant by her sister Shani McGraham, a former
Miss Jamaica Universe. She is pleased she followed her sister’s
advice because she is enjoying the overall experience. She believes
it has increased her confidence and has helped her overcome
her fear of public speaking. She would like to use the title
to highlight the plight of neglected children, an issue that
deeply upsets her.
