We are glad to hear and see that residents of Long Bay were not devastated beyond repair unlike those in other areas. Our prayers remain with you during your recovery endeavours. Lovely pics.

Lisa, unfortunately Yahimba didn’t make it through Dean. I hope they’ll be able to repair the restaurant and cottages though, cause so many people love it there.

Congratulations on your pictures, Renae - it’s important they WE produce our own images of events affecting us in our own country, rather than depending on the images produced by others. While the damage and suffering wreaked by the hurricane are very real, so are the resilience, the solidarity and organisational capacity of our communities, and I would also like to see images showing that …All the best in your career as a journalist

My stomach sank when I heard about Yahimba. I have been trying to hear about Portland. Has anyone heard anything about Zion Country Cottages and I-tal Village?
