Lydia Morris
Ms. Lydia Morris was awarded a total of five (5) contracts for the period under review by the St. Ann Municipal
Corporation. The contracts had a cumulative value of $1,189,900.00. Ms. Morris appeared before the Contractor
General on October 22, 2015 and provided the following statements in respect of the contracts which were
awarded to her:
“CHAIRMAN:
Start first with a contract which is
dated the 29th of November 2012, it was
completed on the 6th of December, 2012,in
the sum of One Hundred and Fifty Thousand
Dollars. I am going to show it to you in a
minute, ma'am. It provides labour, tools,
machete, shovels, wheelbarrows, pickaxe,
de-bush and remove heavy and thick
overgrowth from both sides of roadway and
side drains. Excavate to heavy accumulated
silt and debris, get out some, to clean and
clear sides drain and outlets, gather and
heap spoil and cart away same from site as
detected. It is for 750 meters at Two
Hundred Dollars per meter. Work done
there at - it says road No. 86, Ballimony,
Road No. 333 Cowley and sections of the
Alderton Main Road. I am going to have the
document shown to you now, madame.
