Having regard to Exhibits ‘JM1’ and ‘JM2’, Ms. Hamilton was also listed by Mrs. Joan McDonald as one
of the persons who was purportedly engaged by her in the performance of a contract which was awarded
in the amount of $414,900.00. Based on the documents provided by Mrs. Joan McDonald, Ms. Hamilton
was paid a total of $60,000.00 and performed bushing works at the location described as
“Green Park –
Coulture
”. Exhibit ‘JM 2’ which portrayed the signature of
“…subcontractors and the amount paid for
the work that was done”
also
depicted a signature of Ms. Donnette Hamilton. Ms. Donnette Hamilton
appeared before the Contractor General on September 28, 2015, and advised of,
inter alia
, the following:
“Q:
Okay. Now the times when you get the
contract, you do it as subcontractor or
you were the main contractor?
A:
No, I was a sub-contractor.
Q:
Okay. So who is it that contract you
in terms of, let me be specific, well,
you know Miss Joan McDonald?
A:
Yes.
Q:
Did she?
A:
No, she did not contract me, the
office, Miss Andrea Smith contract
me. If that is in relation to the paper
that I signed by Miss Joan
McDonald.
Q:
Yes.
A:
I can explain all of that. I was called
earlier this year after you came and
