St. Ann Municipal Corporation Office of the Contractor General November 2017
A:
We never normally get, you know, really and truly, its
because I asked – probable quarreled, that we should
get a treasurer’s report the year before, so they
brought this in 2014.
Q:
So based on a meeting of members of the Executive
Committee it is your understanding
that
there
should be a file somewhere that says ‘Treasurer’s
file’ – there should be documentation.
A:
Of course there should be a file that says how the
money is being spent. As a matter of fact I have been
asking about the moneys in the Division, and so I was
told that there was a file in the office that I could take
a look at. When I went to the office there was one
little file jacket like that with everything, with all the
divisions in the one file. So I asked: are you saying to
me that everybody own in this? And they say yes, and
I said, but I can’t look at that. So I did not look at
it”
