Q:

I think by now you may be aware that it is being

said that moneys were expended, not just work was

done but moneys were expended for work to be done.

I think it would be fair to say that you don’t know

about that part, in terms of that money part, in terms

of money being sent through the office of the Member

of Parliament, whether it is above or outside of your

pay grade, that is not something that is to your

knowledge.

During the course of a hearing which was convened by the OCG on September 28, 2015 involving Mr.

Neville Hall, Vice Chairman, Prickly Pole Primary and Infant School, the OCG probed the contents of the

referenced letter which was authored by him and which had challenged the commencement of the paving

of the school yard. The following,

inter alia,

was stated:

”Q: … Now Mr Hall, I have a copy of a letter here that

you wrote (letter shown to Mr Hall), a letter you

wrote to Miss Lydia Richards, Councillor of the

Bensonton Division, dated 8

June, 2015:

“This is to inform you that no work has been done at

the Prickley Pole Primary School for the past ten

years and more except for a play area built by some

people from Canada for the Infant Department. The

school yard need to pave, we asked the local

authority but nothing is being done. (Sgd.) Neville

Hall, Vice Chairman …”
