Nana dissipates

At 5.00 a.m. the centre of Tropical Depression Nana was located near latitude 18.4 degrees north and longitude 43.3 degrees west or about 2065 kilometres west of the Cape Verde Islands and about 2090km east of the northern Leeward Islands.
                    
The depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 18 km/h, and this general motion is expected to continue for the next days with some increase in forward speed.
 
Maximum sustained winds are near 45 km/h, with higher gusts. Slow weakening of the system is forecast until the remnant Low of Nana dissipates in a couple of days.
