FLAIR

BEAUTY

Beauty is

skin deep

Make-up removal

Irrespective of how pimple-free

your skin is, make-up removal is

important. If you have made the

mistake and have not seen the effects,

you should not make it a practice.

Leaving the make-up on will clog

your pores eventually resulting in

anything from pimples to wrinkles.

Diet

Never take for granted the

benefits of a healthy meal. Whether

you have acne or eczema that has

specific food triggers, the food you

eat does affect the way your skin

looks. An occasional guilty pleasure

will not hurt but be sure to drink at

least eight glasses of water a day to

assist with the glow.

Know your skin type

Some individuals try make-up

and blame brands for breakouts

when we really just have not paid

attention or taken note of our skin

type. Acne-prone skin will breakout

with oil-based heavy make-up.

While dry skin users might need the

extra oils to keep skin hydrated.

Scalp

When it comes to facial care you

have to also consider your scalp

issues or complaints. Now if you

have scalp eczema or dandruff that

isn’t treated, it can easily move down

to your forehead and other areas of

your face. So your facial care is

determined by your entire head care.

Make-up break

There is nothing wrong with a bit

of foundation here and there. We

all want to change it up a bit but it

is important to give your face time

to breathe. Make-up was not

designed for us to live in. Be

comfortable in your own skin and

go make-up free. Give your face a

chance to breathe and heal, to

enjoy the sun as it was designed to.
