Our aims and objectives are:

• Identifying investments in agriculture through

research, information gathering and packaging of

investment possibilities and opportunities

• Promoting and facilitating investments through col-

laboration with other agencies and Ministries of

Government

• Working with investors to identify investment oppor-

tunities and assist them with translating their ideas

into viable and sustainable projects

• Influencing other stakeholders to create a friendly

and hospitable climate for agricultural investment

• Mobilising funding to support investment opportuni-

ties in agriculture

• Providing access to government-owned agricultural

lands and facilities

• Managing selected physical facilities which enhance

the agricultural value chain

Our services cover the entire

investment chain from:

• The identification of opportunities through feasibility

studies

• Project Development

• Fund Mobilisation

• Project Management

• Management of state-owned assets

• Long-term business performance monitoring and the

provision of technical support

Some of our major achievements

for the year are:

• Collaborated to facilitate new agricultural develop-

ment to the tune of US$41 milion

• Seven (7) Agro Parks under operation covering

2,711 hectares of land

• 1,537 hectares of land having access to water, an

increase of 86.2 per cent over previous year

• Employment created for 1,639 individuals

• Eight large private investors committing over $160

million of new investment in 2016

• Estimated $212M of produce sold to local and

export markets

• Over five hundred (500) farmers engaged across

Agro Parks

• Youth in Agriculture being facilitated to receive 100

acres of land in the Spring Plain Agro Park
