Integrity

: Holders of public office not place themselves

under a financial or other obligation to outside individuals

or organisations that might influence them in the

performance of their official duties.

Objectivity

:

In carrying out public business, including

making public appointments, awarding contracts, or

recommending individuals for rewards and benefits,

holders of public office, should make choices on merit.

Honesty:

Holder of public office have a duty to declare any

private interests relating to their public duties and take steps

to resolve any conflicts arising in a way that protects the

public interest.

MINISTERS OF GOVERNMENT

1. Ministers of Government are expected to behave

according to the highest standards of constitutional and

personal conduct in the performance of their duties. In

particular, they must observe the following principles of

Ministerial conduct:

i. Ministers must uphold the principle of collective

responsibility;
