A high pressure ridge continue to build across the Caribbean basin and is expected to be a dominant feature across Jamaica for another three days.
This morning it will be mainly sunny across most parishes. This afternoon there will be widely scattered showers and thunderstorms mainly across central and western parishes while tonight there should be isolated showers across western parishes, thereafter becoming fair. Maximum temperature expected for Kingston and Montego Bay today is 33 degrees Celsius. 3-DAY FORECAST(starting tomorrow) Wednesday will be mainly sunny in the morning with widely scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms across central and western parishes. Thursday will see isolated morning showers across eastern parishes and widely scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms across central and western parishes. Friday morning will be partly cloudy and in the afternoon expect widely scattered showers and thunderstorms mainly across hilly areas most parishes. Other Current Regional Weather Features There is a weak area of low pressure near West Palm Beach, Florida which is generating showers and thunderstorms across the area extending from northwestern Bahamas.
