In respect of the contract which was awarded to Mr. Jarrett in the amount of $50,000.00, Mr. Jarrett advised the
OCG that he had no knowledge of the said contract and that he did not receive any payment in this regard. Mr.
Jarrett also indicated to the OCG that the signature which was affixed to the back of the cheque was not affixed
by him and that the signature was made by some other person.
“CHAIRMAN:
I am going to show you the piece of
paper. Sorry, not Clarendon
Cemetery, Claremont Cemetery,
forgive me. It says: "27th of May
2014, provides tools and labour,
wheelbarrow, machete, hoe, et
cetera, debushed and removed
overgrown from Cemetery areas
directed; keep and removed spoils as
erected
[sic]
