Andrea Smith that she was a collector

– collecting for a group payment and

was not a contractor. However, for

all intents and purposes what is

evidenced here is an actual contract

that is issued for her. I know we differ

– meaning the lawyers and I – in

terms of what is really contract; but

Miss Nicolette Keen, her name

appears here as the payee, Payee

Name – on the very first page of

$475,000.

I pause here just to then ask my first

question: as I understand it, a contract

is made to a contractor; a contractor

then subcontracts and then labourers

are hired. Would you agree with that

process?

You have a contractor to whom the

group payment would be made; the

contractor would then subcontract, so

there may be six or seven persons to

whom a subcontract is issued, and

then that subcontractor would hire

labourers. So the 700 persons, for

instance, you mentioned on a previous
