by the Constituency Office?
A:

CHAIRMAN:
So how was Elsie Fullerton selected? You told
me the basis but who selected her in this
regard? I know the letter is under the hand of
the Minister, the Member of Parliament, but
in this case she was recommended by the
Member of Parliament or you recommended
Miss Fullerton?
A:
I would usually make the recommendation
to the Member of Parliament. If she has any
objections then I would have to recommend
somebody else.”
