Yes, there are persons who are supporters of both
ways, who I make sure get some work. I believe I am
MP for all, not for one side or the other side. It's one
thing when you are doing a political campaign, but
it's another thing when you win.
Q:
My understanding is that the persons here who have
been selected are persons who are of the same party
and not persons from an opposing party. That is my
understanding so that's why I was asking if persons
have been selected who are from an opposing party.
A:
No, I have given people work, sir, from the other
party and people from the other party come to my
Constituency Office and they are assisted.
Q:
But specifically for the CDF Programme and the
programmes that we have been looking at, have
persons who are Jamaica Labour Party...
A:
I wouldn't declare their political leaning in this
instance but I would say that for the persons that I
would look at on LH1, for instance, they more
support what I believe is the better party in the
country, which is the PNP.
