Miss Smith still works in the constituency office.
She is in charge
of monies that are submitted to the constituency office.
After I received the payment of $280,000.00, by way of Miss
Smith’s aunt named ‘Dimples’ I sent $15000.00 cash to Miss
Smith as her portion/payment. Because I was aware of the
“bandoloo” that was going on I decided to keep the $25000
which was also to be given to Miss Smith.
Because Miss Smith was upset about the money I had withheld
from her, for two years she did not speak to me or give me any
work.
In December 2013, Miss Smith contacted me (by phone). She
asked me to go to the St. Ann Parish Council … to sign a
contract. She said someone was to go and sign it but the person
was in Kingston.
Based on Miss Smith’s instructions, I went to the Parish Council
and signed a contract. I do not know what the contract was
about
.
I simply affixed my name and signature to the contract which
was handed to me by Miss Janet Henry (Works Overseer) at the
Parish Council. Miss Henry asked me for my ID and TRN and I
handed it to her.
I did not receive a copy of the contract.
