In relation to the allegation made by Mr. Blyden Brown that Ms. Andrea Smith had made certain requests
of him as it regards a contract which was awarded to him in the amount of $285,000.00. Ms. Hanna
responded in the following manner to questions posed by the Contractor General:
“MR. DIRK HARRISON:

Minister, your were asking in
terms of the uncertainty of this
cheque, Mr. Blyden Brown has
indicated that Miss Andrea
Smith told him to go and
collect that cheque for
$285,000.00. Have you ever
heard that allegation before,
madam?
MINISTER LISA HANNA: I have heard it on a tape, that
was a tape between Blyden
Brown, Denzil McDonald and
Lloyd Garrick.
