[The Complainant]
further alleged that despite Miss Hanna being
advised of the questionable activities and made aware that a
member of the PNP’s constituency office is on tape stating that
she (Miss Hanna) is to receive kickbacks from Government
contracts, no action has been taken by the MP.
[The Complainant]
has also said that members of the
constituency office have fraudulently enriched themselves from
Government contracts, despite approximately 50-percent of the
work not being done.
Additionally…
[it has been]
alleged that one “Ann” who works in
the said office, is directly implicated in the racket.
[The
Complainant]
has also accused the MP of deliberately failing to
act on the knowledge that “Ann” and others in her constituency
organization are running this racket to “rob the poor”.
Allegations has also been made that one Ezekiel Russell who is
said to have been employed to the Youth and Culture Ministry
has fraudulently obtained money by offering to provide
Government of Jamaica, GOJ, farm work tickets to residents of
St. Ann.
Attached for your attention is a copy of audio recordings which
may be of interest to your office whose stated mandate involves
monitoring and investigating the award and implementation of
government of Jamaica contracts.
