OCG UNANNOUNCED VISITS
The OCG, on June 4, 2015, took the decision, in the exercise of its discretionary powers under the Contractor
General Act, to conduct simultaneous visits to the St. Ann Municipal Corporation and the Office of the Member
of Parliament, South East, St. Ann, and as deemed appropriate, secured documents and records, to inform its
Investigation. The files which were sequestered by the OCG during the operations included recommendations
made for the award of contracts, invoices, contract documents, payment vouchers, approvals, and documented
internal procurement procedures.
