I became aware of the allegations on Tuesday,
September 22, 2015.

I became aware of the allegations when I received a
telephone call on the matter from a representative
of the Office of the Contractor General.

The representative from the Office of the Contractor
General requested that I arrange to take photographs
of the site; hence, I contacted a member of my
technical staff and arranged for this to be done. I
also requested the Acting Director of Finance of the
Council to provide any information within the
Council on the financing of the alleged project.

I am not aware of the award of any contract and/or
the execution of any works at the Prickly
Pole
Primary School relating to the
paving of the
school premises.
