St. Ann Municipal Corporation Office of the Contractor General November 2017
The OCG Representative showed me a document which
was entitled SAINT ANN PARISH COUNCIL WORKS
PERFORMED AT AGREED RATES, with a
commencement date of December 3, 2012 and a
completion date of December 12, 2012 and a contract
value of $500,000.00. This was the first time I was
seeing the contract written up
.
The $500,000.00 was not
on the contract when I signed it and the words on the
front were not there. I signed it. I guess they gave us the
blank document to sign and then fill out what they want
to. When I say they I mean the persons at the South East
St. Ann Constituency Office
.
The contract states that
work was done from Prosper Hall to Jamaica Boilers,
Brittonville, Lumsden, Fern Court - Beachamville, Clock
- Cemetery, Golden Grove - Main Road, Ramble Phone
Booth, Cemetery - Coultart, Lime Hall - Higgin Town,
along Section of Main Road. I only did work at Prosper
Hall to Jamaica Boilers. I did not do any work at any
other location. I also know that Ramble does not have a
Phone Booth.
I did not do all the works written on the contract. I only
did work from Prosper Hall to Jamaica Broilers.
The
$40,000.00 I received from Ms. Andrea Smith was for
work done at Prosper Hall to Jamaica Boilers
. I gave the
work out to the persons I employed, I was not on site
when the work was being done. I don't know if other
persons were working on other sections at the same time.
I told the men I employed from where to where to work. I
